Captain’s Not Out leads to another win

2nd XI Captain Nick Page help secure their second win of the season with 89 not out

The 2XI entertained Shooters Hill at Radfield Hill and after a damp delay the visitors decide to field.  John Heatley (37) and Robert Kennett (31) got the team off to a great start putting on 80 runs in the first 16 overs. James Sutton (51) and Captain Nick Page (89 no) built on the platform putting on just over a 100 run partnership. James Weller chipped in with 18 and the team finished their reduced 41 overs on 282 for 4.

Adam Rayner (3 for 29)  took out the top order with good support from Tyler Wassell.  Glenn Kennett (3 for 24) took over but when the visitors blocked out hoping for the rain to arrive it took John Heatley to take two wickets in 5 balls for just four runs to finish the game.

The 3XI played Milsted 2nd XI in their Regional League match.  Deciding to field the team bowled and fielded extremely well removing the opposition for just 60 runs.  The cream of the bowling coming from William Cosstick (3 for 14) and Adam Watson (3 for 13)

The runs were quickly knocked off in 9.5 overs for the loss of one wicket with Steve Pumfrett top score with 27 not out.

The 1st XI never got to bowl a ball as the game was cancelled at Kings Hill due to the weather
