Broncos win again
Having won the previous week against Rodmersham, the Broncos were full of confidence going in to their game against Faversham Sophie Hogben Bapchild’s captain lost the toss and were put into bat and Sophie and Aaryan Rajgor opened the batting. They took the game to Faversham from the off, putting bat to ball and scoring at will finishing on a 41 run partnership from their 4 overs. Steady batting from the 3 remaining pairs with last pair of brothers Winston and William Roe scoring 18 runs meant the Broncos scored 300 runs for the loss of 3 wickets at the close of their innings. A great display.
Faversham also batted well and chipped away at the score throughout their innings but fell just a few runs short at the close of play, ending up on 283 for the loss of 2 wickets.
A good nights cricket was had by two competitive teams with Bapchild Broncos coming out as victors on the night.
