Club Code of Conduct – Officials, Coaches & Volunteers
The Club believes that cricket should be played in the right spirit and our Officials, Coaches & Volunteers behaviour should always be of the highest standard and reflect the ethos of the club
Our Officials, Coaches and Volunteers are asked to read and abide to the code of conduct at all times
CODE OF CONDUCT FOR CLUB OFFICIALS COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS
- Consider the well-being and safety of participants before the development of performance
- Develop an appropriate working relationship with performers, bases on mutual trust and respect
- Make sure all activities are appropriate to the age, ability, and experience of those taking part
- Promote the positive aspects of the sport (e.g. fair play)
- Display consistently high standards of behaviour and appearance
- Follow all guidelines laid down by the ECB and Bapchild Cricket Club
- Hold the appropriate, valid qualification and insurance cover
- Never exert undue influence over performers to obtain personal benefit or reward
- Never condone rule violations, rough play or the use of prohibitive substances
- Uphold and act in-line with the Club’s zero tolerance of abuse in any form
