The 1s league match at Walmer went to the last ball on Saturday resulting in a tie

Walmer elected to bat and wickets fell regularly with only their number 9 scoring 43 towards the end that helped the home team reach 149 as they found themselves all out on last ball of their innings.  Harry Mantle picked up 4 more wickets (4 for 29) supported by Tyler Wassell (2 for 31), Ricky Dale (0 for 21), Tom Carey (2 for 15) and Joe Mills (1 for 52)

Walmer picked up early wickets but a fine 50 no from Chris Hogg supported by Mike Willis (23) and Robert Kennett (23) put the game in touch but Harry Mantle found himself stumped on the last ball of the match with the score tied.

The 2s entertained Staplehurst and the team elected to bat.  The 2s scored 165 for 4 off their 40 overs with Nick Page (49)  just missing out on a half century but William Cosstick going one better with 66.  Simon Cosstick (21) and John Heatley (16) also reached double figures.  Staplehurst responded by reaching the total in 38.2 overs for just three wickets (Will Cosstick 1 for 28, Tom Gunner 1 for 31, Ollier Julier 1 for 17)

The 3s travelled to Leeds and Broomfield who elected to bat. Jack Louden bowled superbly picking up an early wicket and returning late for a further two picking up very respectable 3 for 4 off 8.2 overs.  Will Foster also opened retuning figures of 2 for 8 off 6 overs and was equally matched by Matt Louden who took 2 wickets for 18 off 8 overs.  Ella Hadler (1 for 18), Chloe Williams (1 for 20) also picked up wickets as the home team found themselves all for 115 in the 40th over.

Chris Wood (11) opened and Paul Surridge (16) and Jack Louden (17), Ben Gunner (10) all moved the score on but wickets continued to fall and unfortunately found themselves all out just 27 runs short of the total but a great effort by all.
