Yuvraj Rajgor not only hit his maiden century for the Club but went on to score 153 in the KVL match against Staplehurst on Sunday

The 1s were at home to Folkestone and was put into the field.   Folkestone batted steadily with Bapchild picking up three wickets however a middle or stand meant the visitors ended up on 222 for 7 after their 45 overs. Ben Wiebe-Williams (2 for 52), Ricky Dale (2 for 47), Kesha Rajadurai (2 for 41) and Tyler Wassell (1 for 29) picking up the wickets.

After tea the team were going well on 130 for 4 after 26 overs before lightening brought the game to an end as the match was abandoned.  Mike Willis was on 71 no at the time and going strong

The 2nd XI had a similar story in their away match against Gore Court.  Gore Court found themselves all out in the 34th over for 132.  Haris Khan (4 for 21), Henry Louden (3 for 22), Adam Rayner (2 for 36) picking up the wickets.

The team never got to bat as the storm meant the game was abandoned.

The 3s faired better with the weather in their visit to Town Malling although they did play for some considerable time in the rain

After electing to field a strong Ton Malling batting line up proved difficult to breakdown as they put 208 for 2 in their 40 overs. Simon Rose (1 for 38) picking up the only wicket.

The chase was always going to be difficult especially when Chris Wood has to retire hurt due to an injury obtained when fielding.  Kev Miles (19) and Simon Rose got the team to 50 before the first wicket and Simon carried the team as wickets fell reaching 87 no at the end of the innings with the score on 141 for 5.

 

Sunday XI were at home to Staplehurst and got off to an excellent start after being put into bat.  Opener James Weller reached 61 before being caught and bowled and Yuvraj Rajgor was joined by his younger brother Aaryan.  Both batted superbly and was almost ruined when Yuvraj run a very close 2nd run to bring up his maiden century for the Club.  he went on to score 153 before being caught.  Not to be out done Aaryan (50 no) scored his maiden half century for the Club as the tea reached an impressive 286 for 3 off their 40 overs.

Both opening bowlers bowled well at the start (Ethan Collier 5 overs 0 for 9, and Archic Covey 5 overs 2 for 17).  Isaac Gregory-Bourne (3 for 20) continued to take wickets in his first season at senior level.  Toby Heather (1 for 15) and Aaryan (2 for 1) finished off the game as Staplehurst found themselves all out in the 26th over
