Bapchild lost all three games at the weekend to the weather but not before some good performances
The 1st XI entertained Chislehurst & West Kent 1st XI at home. Put into bat and wickets and lightning fell regularly around opener Adam Larking (89) but with support from Ricky Dale (26), Birthday boy Joe Cooper (Happy 21st from all the club and glad to see you back for the weekend) and a very wagging tail of Matt Roche (19) and Darryl Carter (25) the team reached a very respectful 202 all out with just one ball short of their allotted 50 overs.
The rain unfortunately came swiftly after tea and with only two overs bowled and the score on 4 for 0 the game was called abandoned
The 2s travelled the opposite way in this double header and on winning the toss elected to bowl. A superb opening spell from Adam Rayner (22 for 2 off 14 overs) and Michael Neame (30 for 1 off 13 overs) place pressure on the home team with only 49 being scored the first 23 overs. Ben Cooper (1 for 17) Shiv Patel (2 for 14) and Glenn Kennett (1 for 30) continued the great work and Chislehurst found themselves 118 for 9 at the end of their innings.
Bapchild looked in a strong position but with the score on 26 for 1 off 6.4 overs the rain came down flooding the pitch and the game was duly called off
The 3s did not even get to play Minster as the game was called off the night before with their pitch underwater
The Sunday XI did not have a game this weekend
