Prepare the Ground Day a great success

Many thanks to those who turned out on Good Friday to help prepare the ground and pavilion ready for the start of the season.

A lot was achieved including:

Flattening the ground next to the orchard; putting up the signs at the gate; painting the flag pole and blocks; painting the back of of the pavilion; repairing the pavilion roof; cleaning the showers and making sure they are in working order; painting the changing rooms; small repairs in the bar seating area; putting up new PIR lights; fixing the guttering; putting up the mobile net; repairing kitchen cupboards and general spring clean.

Many thanks to the ladies who not only worked hard but kept us well fed and watered with teas, coffees, bacon and sausage sandwiches

Thank you to all those involved.

ALSO a big thank you to the ground staff who over the past few months have done a marvellous effort getting the ground ready. It is best the ground has looked pre-season and it is very much appreciated the hard work that you have all put in
