Bronco’s win after perfect performance
On a breezy night up in Rochester the U12 Broncos met Sherwood for the first time this season in a league game. Sophie Hogben Broncos captain won the toss and elected to bat first on their artificial wicket which was perfect for batting on. All broncos pairs batted well and at close of their innings finished on 327 for 3 by far the best batting performance of the season so far.
The Broncos then continued by pulling out their best fielding and bowling display for the season taking 9 Sherwood wickets and reducing them to 241 for 9 at close of play. Five brilliant catches on the night two each for Henry Louden and Aaryan Rajgon and one for Sophie Hogben help set up the win.
Well done to all who played and hope the good form continues this Thursday when the Broncos meet Rodmersham at home
