Sherwood were asked to bat first on a lovely summers evening at Radfield Hill and were reduced to 230 (start at 200) for the loss of 10 wickets. An outstanding fielding and bowling display by the Broncos led by Henry Louden taking 4 wickets in his 3 over spell. Also first wickets of the season for Noah Jones and Jacob Griffiths helped with the cause. Just when the Sherwood batsmen were trying to push up the run rate Aaryan Rajgor threw down a brilliant run out followed up by an even better catch to stop the flow of runs.
Chasing a small total the Bapchild Broncos all batted steadily ending up on 291 for the loss of only 2 wickets at the close of play to win the game by 61 runs.
