Twos clock up sixth consecutive win

The twos won their sixth consecutive win on Saturday.

Old Williamsonians visited Radfield Hill on Saturday and on winning the toss Captain Nick Page elected to bat.  Rob Kennett (62) and Steve Pumfrett (53) were both in the runs building a good platform and both reaching their half centuries.   When Michael Willis entered the fray he was able to build on the good start hitting a magnificent 103 in just 57 minutes and scoring his first maiden century for the club.  The team reached an impressive 274 runs for 7 in their allotted overs.

The team got off to a good start picking up to early wickets and wickets continued to fall regularly with some good bowling from Michael Neame (3 for 31), Lincoln Bryden (2 (not 3!!) for 30), Owen Harrison (1 for 26) and Glenn Kennett, fresh back from holiday and keen to reclaim his bowling position back from his son, picked up 3 of 13.  The visitors were all out for 103 in the 24th over giving the twos a win by 171 runs
