All three Saturday teams won their matches on the second league weekend of the season.

The 1st XI travelled for a local derby against Faversham and on winning the toss elected to bat

After losing a wicket early Adam Larking (85) and Ricky Dale (46) pushed on supported by Lee Taylor (41).  A couple of quick wickets didn’t slow the pace as Matt Lewis (42) also joined in the runs.   A little cameo from Alan Hampton (17) saw the team all out for an impressive 278 at the end of the 49th over

After tea two quick wickets from opening bowler Owen Harrison (2 for 15) and tight bowling from Alan Hampton (9 overs for 9 runs) put the pressure on from the sta.rt.  Adam Rayner and Matt Lewis picked up a wicket each before Ricky Dale (4 for 15) and James Weller (2 for 30) finished off the home team bowling them out for 129 in the 39th over.  A win of 149 runs.

The 2nd XI entertained new promoted Tonbridge who were undefeated in 20 games.  Winning the toss the visitors decided to bat but lost an early wicket to Michael Neame (1 for 17).  Tyler Wassell bowled well (7 overs for 24) as did Adam Watson (1 for 20) but Lee Cogger changed the game with a magnificent 5 for 39 and with good support from Glenn Kennett (2 for 39) saw Tonbridge all out for 145 in the 43 over.

After tea the visitors took early wickets but a fabulous 65 from Joe Cooper (scoring his first league 50 for the club) supported by James Sutton (34 no) saw the team home in the 30th over with 6 wickets spare

The 3rd XI played their first game at their new home at Rooks Wood against Storehouse who put Bapchild in to bat. Simon Cosstick hit form with a fine 74 supported by James Elkin (38) and Steve Pumfrett (26) saw the team reach 182 for 9 in their allotted overs.

A superb 7 overs from Ethan Collier (4 for 23) supported by Ashley Bax (3 for 46) as well as Willam Cosstick (1 for 10), Neil Bloor (1 for 34) and Shiv Patel (0 for 36) saw the third win of the weekend as the visitors reached 171 for 9 off their allotted overs
