On a breezy evening at Radfield Hill, the in-form Bapchild Bulldogs played Minster in another league game of the campaign. Brynn Foot, Bulldog’s captain, won the toss and elected to bat.
Brynn opened the batting with Patrick Hogben scoring 26 runs and Patrick having to retire mid-innings with 43 useful runs. They were backed up by William Surridge (15) and Dylan Smith (20) and closed their innings on 153 for 5.
Minster openers Miller (15) and Oostheinzen (18) started strongly but a brilliant run out after 7 overs from Simon Farrell set in the rot for the Minster batsmen.
With 6 overs to go, and Minster requiring a sizeable total, up stepped Edward Louden to bowl a devastating 3 overs to clear up the Minster’s tail leaving them on 93 all out. Edward bowling figures 3 overs, 6 wickets for just 9 runs !! Well done to the Bapchild Bulldogs on another good win
