The Sunday XI beat Littlebourne at the weekend to remain unbeaten in the KVL Division 2 league.

Captain Owen Harrison (2 for 9) and Tom Carey (1 for 22) were in the wickets early. Ella Hadler (1 for 17) and Calum  Harrison (1 for 18) continued the good work keeping on the pressure. In the end 8 bowlers were used (Anthony Burbury 2 for 30, Isabelle Julier 0 for 31, Grandad Taylor 0 for 19 and Ben Ryder 2 for 13) and their efforts restricted the opposition to 172 for 9 in their allocated 40 overs.  Top score for Littlebourne was E. Xtras (57) !!!!

There must have been one or two finals on the day as the team reached the total in the 22.3 with loss of just 3 wickets.  Chris Knope 76 not out  led the charge for an early finish.

The 1st XI were home to Rainham on Saturday and elected to bat. Unfortunately wickets fell regularly and apart from Lee Taylor (39) and Owen Harrison, who went in at no 9, who was 50 not out, the team was bowled out for 149 in the 36th over.

The team battled hard and with some good bowling from all the bowlers particularly from Tyler Wassell (4 for 36) they took Rainham to the wire but they managed to just reach the target with just one wicket remaining.

The 3rd XI entertained Holborough Anchorians and on losing the toss was put into the field. Ella Hadler opened the bowling taking 4 for 35 ably supported by Shiv Patel (3 for 14). The remaining bowlers all did their role as they bowled the opposition for 142 in the 35th over

Linc Bryden (36) batted well but wickets fell around him.  Daniel Gunner (34) looked like he might get the team across the line but was caught out and the team found themselves just 12 runs short of the total.

The 2nd XI did not have a game this weekend
