Dinner & Dance signs-off 2024 Season
Bapchild Cricket Club held their annual Dinner & Dance at the beginning of November.
Attended by over 60 people the Club had a three course meal followed by the Senior Presentations and a disco afterwards.
The Senior Winners for the 2024 Season were as follows:
Best Bowling Performance 2024 – Ben Wiebe-Williams – 6 for 18 against Bredgar CC.
Best Batting Performance 2024 – Matt Lincoln – 147 against Egerton CC
Fielding Award 2024 – Ethan Collier
Young Player Performance of the Year 2024 – Yuvraj Rajgor – 82 not out against The Mote
Bowling Award 2024 – Tom Carey – 43 Wickets
Batting Award 2024 – Tom Carey – 990 runs
3rd XI Captain’s Award 2024 – Sophie Hogben
2nd XI Captain’s Award 2024 – William Cosstick
Sunday XI Captain’s Award 2024 – James Weller
1st XI Captains’s Award 2024 – James Weller
Champagne Moment 2024 – Nilesh Rajgor – One Handed Catch against Rainham
Special Champagne Moment 2024 – The Chairman – Leaving all the cabin luggage at home when going on holiday
Young Player of the Year 2024 – Sophie Hogben
All-Rounder of the Year 2024 – Tom Carey – 990 runs, 43 wickets, 12 catches, 2 Stumpings
The Chairman’s Award 2024 – Perri Wood
A new cup was presented for Cricketer of the Year in Memory of Mike Lidstone who sadly past away earlier in the Year – The cup was donated by the Lidstone Family and presented by Mike’s wife Shirley.
