1s lose for the first time this season

In a weekend where player availability was scarce the 1s travelled to Addington and elected to field.  The team put the pressure on early with Harry Mantle (1 for 14) picking up the first wicket.  The pressure remained on the batting team as wickets fell and only three reached double figures as the home team was bowled out for 121 in the 45 over.   Unfortunately one of those double figures was extras at top score of 43 which would come back and haunt the team later.   James Weller picked up 4 for 26, with Owen Harrison 2 for 23 and Ben Wiebe-Williams, Ricky Dale and Ethan Collier all picking up one wicket.

James Weller (20) started the innings well but wickets fell regularly and once Mike Willis (14) succumbed the team found themselves all out for 76 in the 40th over.

The 1s still remain top by 29 points with 3 games to play

The 2XI entertained top of the table Blackheath and put the visitors into bat.  Jay (Sahar Shojahi) picked up 4 for 24 ably supported by Adam Rayner (2 for 24), Freddie Corner (2 for 12)  and Lincoln Bryden (1 for 14) as Blackheath found themselves all out for 96 in the 27th over

Blackheath then turned the tables with only John Heatley (10) reaching double figures as the team was bowled out 32.

The 3rd XI conceded their game against Minister due to a lack of availability across the senior squad

The Sunday XI did not have a game.
