Double Wicket Rules

1. Games are 3 x 6-ball overs per side between pairs

2. One player can bowl 2 overs and the other must bowl 1.

3. The fielding pair will be assisted by 4 other fielders.  These 4 fielders (including a wicket-keeper) will be other participants from the group from which the match is from.

4. Wides cost 6 runs and there is no extra ball.

5. No-balls cost 6 runs and there is no extra ball.

6. If a wicket is lost, it costs the batting side 6 runs and the batsmen swap ends (unless the wicket falls on the last ball of the over)

7. Totals start on 200.

8. Each pair will play every other pair in their group.

9. A win will result in 2 points being awarded to the winning team in their league table, 1 point for a tie and no points for a loss.

10.  All 3 group winners will progress to the semi-finals as well as the best group runner-up.  The best group runner-up will be decided on points, run difference and runs scored in that order.

11. Between innings all fielders must remain on the field to ensure a quick changeover.
