A Hat-trick from Tyler Wassell, a 5 wicket bowling haul from Tom Carey and 71 run from Ricky Dale all helped to finish the league season with a win for the 1st XI.
The 1s entertained Sibton Park on the final game of the league season and on winning the toss decided to bat.
Wickets fell early including as the team found themselves 6 down but an impressive knock from Ricky Dale (71 no) and Joe Mills (44) batting at 8 and 7 respectively meant the score moved on to 218 before the team was bowled out in the on the last ball of the innings.
Tyler Wassell (3 for 18) destroyed the top order taking a hat-trick bowling the first two and Tom Carey picking up the third with a catch behind the stumps leaving Sibton on 11 for 3. The remaining opener and the incoming batsman knuckled down and at drinks had put on a 93 run partnership. Two overs after drinks Tom who had been keeping relinquished the gloves and came on to bowl with immediate affect taking 5 for 15 in just 4.5 overs as the visitors found themselves all out for 129 in the 37th over.
The 2s travelled to Deal Victoria and was put into bat and struggled from the outset. Only Ethan Collier (19), Ben Wiebe-Williams (14) and Tony Hadfield (11) reached double figures as the team was bowled out for 95 in the 39th over.
Two early wickets from Ethan (1 for 27) and Ben (1 for 17) got the team off to a good start but Deal Victoria comfortably reached the total in the 17th over without further loss.
The 3s unfortunately had to concede their game against Kings Hill.
The Sunday XI were at home to Bobbing Court and Lower Halstow but the game was abandoned after 15 overs due to the rain
