Bapchild Cricket Club welcomes all children from 6 - 18. We run a large Colts Section with one U18 team, two teams in Under 15, Under 13 and Under 11 teams competing in the Swale Colts League. We also run two mini 9's side so children under 9 can play competitive cricket and learn from an early age the joys of team sports. In 2012, for the first time in the club's history, we able to field an all girls team, the Butterflies, in a tournament and are looking to enter the Butterflies in the U9 league for the 2013 season.

Nets and coaching take place by ECB Qualified coaches with matches on Sunday mornings and weekday evenings. In addition to the League matches friendly matches are arranged on an occasional basis to provide as much cricket as possible for the young players of the future. Kids Cricket for Boys and Girls 6 -13, takes part on Saturday mornings 9am - 10.30am with lots of fun games and exercise all supervised by ECB Qualified coaches.  14 to 15 year olds train Wednesday nights

All members of the coaching staff are ECB coaches and qualified to work with youngsters.

We received the ECB Clubmark accreditation in 2010 which means the Club operates to a key set of core criteria and has in place good practice to ensure that we can deliver high quality community cricket in an environment that is safe, effective and child friendly.

In 2011 we received ECB Focus Club accreditation in 2011 which is a geographic collaboration between the Focus Club (cricket club) and partnership schools/colleges, local community groups, businesses and sponsors.  It again reaffirms we are committed to the delivery of junior development programmes and/or activities in partnership with ECB, the County Cricket Board, schools and the community through a Club Development Plan that has been approved by the County Cricket Board and is reviewed and updated on an annual basis.
