The twos travelled to Holcombe and Bluebell Hill needing 15 pts to ensure promotion and be crowned RKCL Division 2a East Champions.  On a reduced over match, due to the weather, Skipper Nick Page elected to field.  Excellent bowling from the whole bowling attack Tyler Wassell (7 overs for 11 runs), Dan Pumfrett (2 for 10), Michael Neame (2 for 20) Owen Harrison (5 overs for 21 runs), Lincoln Bryden (5 overs for 27) and Glen Kennett (3 for 9) meant the home team were kept to 101 for 7 off their allotted 32 overs.

The team started well with openers Rob Kennett (14) and Lee Cogger (17) scoring steadily.  The home team started to pick up wickets but Captain Nick Page’s 16 moved the score on leaving James Sutton (24) to score to winning runs and secure promotion back to the Kent League for the first time in 14 years with 3.4 overs and 5 wickets to spare.
