My teammates keep telling me that I am punching above my weight, and they seem to find this humorous. What do they mean?

Dear Michael,  Punching above your weight can mean one of two things:
1. You are fighting against a man who is considerably heavier than you. In your case this would have to be an extremely big man and it is unlikely this is what they are referring to.

2. You are dating a woman who is considered much higher than your attractiveness equivalent. If this is the case, you are likely to have a great personality, or a cricket bat like our friend Mr Long. Your teammates are likely to be jealous of your fit bird and thus they make fun of you.
